AJC Atlanta works diligently to create bonds between the Jewish community and many other cultural, ethnic, and faith communities in the metro Atlanta area.  One of its most successful initiatives towards this goal is the Atlanta Black-Jewish Coalition.   In addition to its domestic outreach, AJC Atlanta serves as the Jewish community's voice in international advocacy by developing strong ties to the diplomatic representativesof numerous foreign governments in the Southeast.  Through open dialogue and partnership, education and outreach, AJC Atlanta raises awareness of its values and concerns with these core groups with whom mutual respect and understanding have been established.  AJC Atlanta constantly strives to enhance and  strengthen its existing relationships while seeking out opportunities for bridge building with other communities. 

As part of its role as "the State Department of the Jewish Community," AJC Atlanta seeks to cultivate leadership through a variety of programs aimed at educating its membership to be better advocates for the core principles of promoting pluralistic and democratic societies.
