AJC’s Atlanta Chapter is committed to ensuring that its members are provided the opportunity to further develop their leadership skills.  In particular, the Atlanta Chapter hosts two leadership programs that present education and advocacy opportunities for our members, while also providing the chance to network with fellow chapter members.

provides emerging leaders with programs that highlight the Atlanta chapter’s engagement and advocacy efforts. The Institute also creates opportunities for participants to meet with and learn from current AJC leaders.  Berman Leadership Institute graduates serve in leadership roles on the Executive Committee, The Board of Trustees and on numerous committees.

AJC's EngagingAmerica leadership training program empowers AJC members to be effective domestic diplomats in interethnic and interreligious engagement. The program provides training in advocacy, coalition-building, and the articulation of Jewish values. Through building knowledge and skills, EngagingAmerica moves the intergroup conversation beyond dialogue to social and political action on behalf of Jews and our neighbors. Graduates of the program serve in leadership roles on coalitions, in inter-religious outreach, in programming, and in other aspects of the Atlanta Chapter’s interfaith and intergroup efforts.
