About the Selig Distinguished Service Award
The Selig Award was established by American Jewish Committee's Atlanta Chapter, in 1986, in memory of Caroline Massell Seig and Simon S. Selig, Jr. This award is presented each spring at the Atlanta Chapter's Awards Dinner. Recipients of this prestigious award reflect the Seligs' dedication, commitment, and generosity to the enhacement of the Atlanta community.

About Cathy Selig Kuranoff
Cathy Selig is co-owner and Senior Vice President of Selig Enterprises. She is the third generation of the Selig family to be involved in the business founded by her grandfather Ben Massell.
Cathy is actively involved in many aspects of the community in Jewish and civic affairs and the arts. She most recently chaired the very successful capital campaign for the Ben Massell dental clinic, and serves on many boards throughout Atlanta, including American Jewish Committee. In 2007 she honored by Atlanta Women's Magazine as one of the top five Women of Impact for her philanthropy and legacy building and in 1996 by The Davis Academy at their Annual Awards Dinner.
Cathy is married to Steve Kuranoff. She is the mother of Bryan & Amy and Greg & Erica and is proud of her four grandchildren.
