About Vicki Palmer

Vicki R. Palmer retired as the Executive Vice President, Financial Services and Administration of Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. Ms. Palmer was responsible for overseeing the Treasury Department, which manages the Company’s $9.5 billion multicurrency debt portfolio and its $4.5 billion pension plan and 401(k) plan investments, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Diversity, the Ombuds office and Corporate Affairs. Ms. Palmer also serves as a member of the Company’s Executive Leadership Team.

 Coca-Cola Enterprises is the world's largest bottler of soft drink products of The Coca-Cola Company, operating in 46 states in the United States, all 10 provinces in Canada and 5 countries in the European Union, with total revenues of approximately $20 billion.

 Ms. Palmer joined The Coca-Cola Company in late 1983 as manager, Pension Investments where she was responsible for the Company's worldwide pension assets until the formation of Coca-Cola Enterprises in 1986. She joined Coca-Cola Enterprises at its inception as Assistant Treasurer. She was elected Corporate Vice President and Treasurer in December 1992; Senior Vice President and Special Assistant to the CEO in 2000 and Executive Vice President in 2004.

 A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Ms. Palmer spent five years with Federal Express Corporation where she held numerous financial positions, leaving as manager, Corporate Finance. During the preceding two years, Ms. Palmer was a corporate loan officer with First Tennessee Bank, N.A.

 Ms. Palmer is an active member of Cascade United Methodist Church where she is Treasurer and a member of the choir; serves as Secretary of the Board of Trustees of Spelman College; is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Governors for Woodward Academy and is currently a member of the Presidential Search Committee; is a member of The Links, Incorporated; is a member of The Executive Leadership Council; and most recently joined the boards of Leadership Atlanta and the Woodruff Arts Center.

 Ms. Palmer received her B.A. degree in economics and business administration from Rhodes College and her MBA in finance from the University of Memphis. She received the Distinguished Alumna Award for Achievement from the University of Memphis Alumni Association in 1998. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at Rhodes College and has been named 2008 Distinguished Alumnus by the Black Student Association. In 2006, she received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Cambridge College.

 Ms. Palmer has been a member of the Board of Directors of First Horizon National Corporation since 1993, and chairs the Audit Committee. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Havertys Furniture Company where she is a member of the Audit and Corporate Governance Committees.

 Ms. Palmer is the wife of Kansas City businessman, John E. Palmer, and is the proud mother of a 19-year-old daughter, Alexandria, who is a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania.
