Educate, Advocate, Engage ... Building Bridges of Understanding AJC's mission is to safeguard the welfare and security of Jewish people worldwide by defending and promoting pluralism as the best defense against anti-Semitism and other forms of ignorance bigotry and hatred.
AJC has successfuly approached these and other areas of focus by building a reputation Founded in 1944, the Atlanta Regional Office of AJC is dedicated to building bridges of understanding between the Jewish community and other ethnic and faith coummunities as well as the diplomatic corps representing numerous international governments in metro In addition to the interfaith, interethnic and international work AJC Atlanta engages in ACCESS - AJC's national young adult division. A vibrant part of AJC Atlanta, ACCESS provides leadership development, networking, opportunities to learn about world affairs and take part in diplomatic outreach on behalf of the Jewish community. The Atlanta Black-Jewish Coalition - founded in 1982, the BJC has emerged as a central platform for education, outreach, advocacy and as a forum for meaningful dialogue and action. The Atlanta Jewish Film Festival - Having just celebrated its tenth anniversary, the AJFF has emerged as the second largest Jewish film festival in the United States and the largest film festival in Atlanta, seating over 20,000 movie goers.
