About Axum
Named after the famed city and kingdom in Africa (where some believe the Ark of the Covenant resides), Axum mixes the influences of its members' ancient ancestral roots in Ethiopia with the sounds of their present (and equally ancient) birthplace and home, Israel. Describing itself as "a unique world music psychedelic dub/reggae collective," Athens, Georgia's DubConscious has become one of the most sought after world music acts on tour today.
